The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing the efficient flow of materials, spare parts, and equipment within the warehouse. This includes receiving and inspecting deliveries, organizing and maintaining accurate inventory, and issuing materials based on approved requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and Inspection
- Receive incoming materials, spare parts, and equipment
- Verify quantity and condition against delivery documents
- Report damaged or incorrect items
- Ensure proper documentation and tagging of items
- Storage and Inventory Management
- Store materials properly following warehouse layout and safety standards
- Maintain organized and traceable inventory system
- Support physical inventory and cycle counts
- Issuance of Materials
- Issue spare parts and tools based on approved requests
- Ensure correct documentation (withdrawal slips / system entries)
- Record stock movements accurately
- Warehouse Operations Support
Assist In
- Stock transfers
- Picking and packing
- Loading/unloading activities
- Inventory Control and Reporting
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess
- Assist in preparing inventory reports
- Help ensure stock accuracy and traceability
- Safety, Health, and Environment (EHS Compliance)
- Follow warehouse safety rules and procedures
- Use proper PPE at all times
- Maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse
- Report hazards and incidents immediately
- Equipment Handling
- Operate basic warehouse tools/equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift if certified)
- Ensure safe handling and movement of materials
- Documentation and System Updates
- Maintain proper documentation of:
- Receiving
- Issuance
- Inventory records
- Encode or update data in inventory system (SAP or manual logs)
Qualifications
- At least Senior High School / Vocational / College level
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory
Basic Knowledge Of
- Inventory systems (SAP is an advantage)
- Warehouse procedures
- Manual handling tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy
