The Warehouse Checker ensures the accuracy of all materials and products received, stored, and dispatched. The role involves counting, checking item conditions, verifying documents, and coordinating with warehouse personnel to maintain accurate records and smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications And Requirements
- At least high school graduate or college level.
- At least one (1) year of experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory checking
- Possesses excellent accuracy in counting and careful attention to detail
- Able to handle physical tasks, including lifting and carrying items when necessary
- Knowledge in warehouse documentation
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or holiday (if required)
- Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
Duties And Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify the quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Compare actual items against delivery receipts, purchase orders, and dispatch documents
- Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and storage items
- Report discrepancies such as shortages, overages, or damaged goods.
- Assist in monitoring stock levels and participate in periodic inventory counts
- Coordinate with drivers , warehouse staff, and office personnel to ensure accurate and timely transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas
- Follow safety rules and warehouse protocols at all times
