Job Description
Warehouse Checking
Receive and inspect incoming steel materials based on Delivery Receipts (DR), Packing Lists, and Purchase Orders.
Check product specifications such as size, length, thickness, weight, heat/lot numbers, and quantity.
Conduct outbound checking to ensure accuracy of items released to customers or branches.
Monitor and report discrepancies, damages, shortages, or excesses.
Coordinate with warehouse personnel, sales, and logistics to resolve variances.
Inventory Management
Assist in stock monitoring, cycle counts, and periodic physical inventory.
Ensure accurate tagging, labeling, and proper segregation of steel materials.
Update warehouse records, checklists, forms, and log sheets as required.
Maintain organized and systematic storage for efficient retrieval.
Safety & Housekeeping
Observe all warehouse safety rules and use required PPE at all times.
Keep forklift and surrounding area clean, clutter-free, and properly maintained.
Report hazards, near-misses, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
Participate in safety drills and warehouse training sessions.
Coordination & Support
Assist in loading/unloading activities during high-volume operations.
Work closely with warehouse helpers, pickers, and logistics staff for efficient workflow.
Support warehouse supervisor in implementing process improvements.
