A Warehouse Partsman, also known as a Parts Technician or Parts Clerk, is responsible for managing, organizing, and distributing parts within a warehouse.
Typically in industries like automotive or heavy equipment.
This role ensures that the correct parts are available when needed for repairs, maintenance, or sales.
Holds a degree in engineering or another relevant field (e.g. logistics, supply chain, or industrial management).
At least one year of experience in warehouse operations and inventory control.
A safety officer certificate is advantageousbut not mandatory.
Proficient in inventory handling, Microsoft Office, and SAP.
Meticulous, dedicated, and responsible.
Conducts regular inspections and organizes stocked parts.
Ensures efficient and timely release of parts upon order.
Performs random inventory checks at all times to detect discrepancies.
Reports any unusual findings in stocking or inventory to supervisors.
