Position Type: Full Time

Location: Philippines (Remote)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, with 3-4 hours overlap with US Central Time

About The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Walmart Catalog Manager to oversee and optimize product catalogs on Walmart Marketplace. This role is critical to maintaining high-quality product listings, resolving catalog issues, and ensuring products achieve maximum visibility and discoverability. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Walmart Seller Center, content optimization, and marketplace catalog management.

Responsibilities

  • Walmart Item Setup: Creates new items and ensures required product information, attributes, and content fields are completed accurately
  • Spec File & Bulk Update Management: Handles spec file uploads, bulk updates, template submissions, image uploads, and WFS-related item updates with strong accuracy and quality control
  • Catalog Issue Resolution & Case Management: Troubleshoots and resolves catalog errors, attribute issues, content update failures, variation problems, unpublished listings, and Walmart support tickets.
  • Taxonomy & Classification Management: Maintains product taxonomy, root category, shelf path, and product type assignments to support accurate categorization, commission rates, and discoverability.
  • Listing Content & Optimization: Updates and optimizes product titles, descriptions, bullet points, attributes, images, and keywords to improve content quality, discoverability, and search visibility
  • Brand Protection & Marketplace Monitoring: Monitors Walmart for unauthorized sellers or IP issues, files cases through Walmart Brand Portal, and tracks enforcement actions as needed.
  • WFS Inventory & Reimbursement Support: Tracks WFS inventory issues, shipment discrepancies, under-received or damaged inventory, and reimbursement cases through resolution.
  • Process Adherence: Follows client guidelines, SOPs, and approval workflows before making listing or asset changes.
  • Task Ownership & Reporting: Communicates updates proactively, tracks catalog health metrics, flags blockers, and closes assigned tasks within expected timelines.

Competencies And Qualifications

Must-Have

  • 3-5 years of experience in Walmart Seller Center
  • Extensive experience in Walmart Seller Center and Amazon Seller/Vendor Central
  • Experience managing support tickets and catalog issue resolution
  • Understanding of keyword research and listing optimization best practices
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for bulk catalog management, data updates, and reporting
  • Familiarity with Google Suite / MS Systems
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work accurately with catalog data
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

Nice-to-Have

  • Hands-on experience with Walmart Supplier One or Retail Link
  • Experience working in an agency environment and managing multiple brand systems or client accounts
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Airtable, or similar platforms
  • Experience building or supporting workflow automations
  • Experience or familiarity with food, consumables, or CPG categories
  • Familiarity with Sam's Club retail operations or platform requirements
