Job Summary
Responsible for delivering high-quality food and beverage service to hotel guests, ensuring a professional dining experience aligned with hotel standards and guest satisfaction goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings
- Take and relay accurate orders to kitchen and bar staff
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations
- Set up and clear tables for dining service, banquets, and room service as needed
- Process billing and handle payments accurately
- Follow hotel policies on hygiene, grooming, and food safety
- Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, and front office teams when necessary
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting would be an advantage
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of fine dining or hotel service standards
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Basic knowledge of food, beverages, and wine service
- Multilingual ability is an advantage
