Job Description

  • Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus and explain menu items, promotions, and specials when necessary.
  • Take customer food and beverage orders accurately and relay them promptly to the kitchen.
  • Serve food and beverages according to company standards.
  • Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and respond promptly to requests.
  • Clear and clean tables before and after service.
  • Prepare tables with clean utensils, napkins, and condiments.
  • Process customer bills and collect payments accurately, if assigned.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and work areas.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and immediately report serious concerns to the Restaurant Supervisor or Manager.
  • Assist in opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking supplies.
  • Work closely with the kitchen and other team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
  • Attend company meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Restaurant Manager or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or college level; hospitality-related education is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in food service is preferred but not required.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
  • Willing to work on weekends, holidays, and shifting schedules.
