Job Summary
The Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to guests in a high-end restaurant environment. The role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver a premium dining experience while maintaining the restaurants service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Present menus, explain dishes, and provide food and beverage recommendations
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar
- Serve food and beverages according to fine dining service standards
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and presentation before and during service
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service
- Handle billing and payment processing accurately when required
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials
- Follow company policies, hygiene standards, and service protocols
- Assist in opening and closing side duties and overall dining area maintenance
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fine dining, hotel, or upscale restaurant is preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or local language
- Professional appearance and grooming standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and table service is an advantage
