JOB DESCRIPTION

Satellite Teams is looking for a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Marketing to lead and scale the company's marketing function. This executive role is responsible for defining the overall marketing vision, driving demand generation, strengthening brand positioning, and aligning marketing strategy with business growth objectives. The VP of Marketing will oversee marketing strategy, performance, team leadership, and cross-functional alignment to deliver measurable revenue impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute the overall marketing strategy aligned with company goals and revenue targets
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team across growth, brand, content, and performance marketing
  • Establish marketing KPIs, dashboards, and reporting frameworks

Demand Generation & Growth

  • Drive customer acquisition, pipeline growth, and revenue through integrated marketing campaigns
  • Oversee paid media, content marketing, email, SEO, partnerships, and lifecycle marketing strategies
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Leadership to optimize funnel performance and conversion

Brand & Market Positioning

  • Own brand strategy, messaging, and positioning across all channels
  • Ensure consistent brand voice, visual identity, and customer experience
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategy and differentiation

Budgeting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Own and manage the marketing budget and resource allocation
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to support company initiatives
  • Evaluate and manage agencies, vendors, and technology partners

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 812+ years of experience in Marketing Leadership, with at least 3+ years in a senior or executive role
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and scalable demand generation
  • Strong background in B2B, SaaS, or professional services marketing (preferred)
  • Experience leading and scaling remote or distributed marketing teams
  • Deep understanding of marketing analytics, attribution, and performance measurement
  • Experience with marketing technology stacks including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and paid media platforms
  • Strong executive communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • MBA or advanced marketing certification is a plus
