Job Description
The Voice Network Engineer is responsible for the design, deployment, administration, and support of the organization's voice infrastructure. This role manages end-to-end voice network operations, including AudioCodes and Cisco unified communications platforms, to ensure stable, high-quality voice services. The engineer will also collaborate closely with other IT teams to support seamless system integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain voice infrastructure, including AudioCodes SBCs, OVOC, and Media Gateways
- Administer Cisco CUCM and CME environments
- Configure call routing, dial plans, and endpoint provisioning
- Provide advanced (L2/L3) technical support for voice-related incidents
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot voice quality issues
- Document configurations, procedures, and network changes
- Work collaboratively with network, systems, and application teams
Required Skills (Must-Have)
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in voice or VoIP engineering
- Experience with AudioCodes SBC
- Experience with OVOC
- Experience with Cisco CUCM
Preferred Skills (Good-to-Have)
- Experience with Cisco CME
- Knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP)
- Familiarity with voice performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools
