The Visual Merchandising will work collaboratively & cross-functionally between different departments to conceptualize & strategize in-store displays, special promotions, & general visual merchandising materials. Ensures that final designs are visually appealing & on-brand, prepares print deliverables for production, & oversees implementation in stores for SUNNIES FACE
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Collaboration
- Work closely with the Visual Merchandising team and other departments to align design direction, product launches, and other promotions
- Get all designs approved by the immediate supervisor, brand team, and the Creative Director, before proceeding to production
- Keep up with the latest design trends and ensure brand consistency
Design Development
- Plan and conceptualize designs according to the given project brief and/or key visual
- Visit Sunnies Studios social media channels for inspiration and to check if designs are aligned with the brand
- Manipulate photos and create 3D mockups of designs to visualize how they will look like in the actual stores
- Resize and edit videos from Creatives to properly fit all the TV Displays in stores as needed
- Proofread designs to make sure all colors and texts are accurate and approved by the brand, to avoid the need to reproduce materials, which can highly affect the budget and the timeline of the project
- Ensure all files are sent on time and in high resolution to suppliers
Store Experience
- Collaborate with Store Design team in enhancing the overall store experience
- Conduct monthly store visits to ensure implementation of displays are up to the brand's standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Design/Fine Arts/Multimedia
- Must be interested/familiar with the cosmetics/make-up industry
- Proficiency with design software such as Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro), AutoCad & SketchUp
- Good communication skills including the ability to present thoughts and creative ideas
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and projects at hand
- Ability to work methodically with keen attention to detail
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing tasks as needed within strict timelines
- Have a comprehensive portfolio of relevant visual design work
- Amenable to work on a hybrid working set-up at Mandaluyong and doing store visits
