Liaisons directly with the brand's principals regarding all matters concerning the visual merchandising of the stores
Communicates all visual merchandising directives to the stores and their staff to ensure the store's compliance and alignment with the brand's direction and image
Pays regular visits to the stores to ensure their compliance with the principal's directives on the store's visual displays.
Makes adjustments to the stores displays during the store visits based on the principal's directives.
Updates and adjusts visual merchandising displays based on each store's market history to encourage better foot traffic and higher sales for each location
Prepares and sends regular (monthly or as needed) reports to the principals based on the store's current visual displays
Attends all visual merchandising training seminars as required by the brand's principals.
Cascades information received from trainings/seminars as required by the brands principals.
Provides regular VM training to the store staff to ensure that all are aligned and informed of the brand's direction in terms of proper visual merchandising
Ensures that stores are amply provisioned with the necessary visual merchandising tools and materials (props, risers, etc.) to correctly display their merchandise following the brand's directives
Ensures that all store's visual merchandising tools (props, risers, etc.) are properly maintained and any damages repaired or replaced in a timely manner
Coordinates with different suppliers for the fabrication/installation/dismantling of VM props, materials, and installations that are to be sourced locally
Coordinates with the different internal departments (Warehouse, VMD) to ensure timely delivery and installation of VM Window props, materials and installations that are sourced internationally
Coordinates with VMD with regards to storage or disposal of off- season props and materials.
Coordinates the seasonal change of store visuals (lightbox, videos, etc.) and ensures all in-store visuals used are current and updated
Ensures that the stores are properly maintained and coordinates with the necessary parties (ESD – Maintenance) for any repair/maintenance work to be done
Makes decisions and/or recommendations with respect to the visuals of the stores based on the store's market, needs and direction
Makes recommendations on new store design/layout based on the brand's history and direction in the local market
Manages VM expenses based on the approved annual budget and works closely with Merchandising on the budget planning to ensure that the brand's direction on visuals
