Job Description
The visual designer role delivers content through thoughtful, highquality visual design across documents, digital content, and integrated communication initiatives. Work draws on a range of visual approaches, including typography, photography, illustration, infographics, and motion or video, to create clear, engaging, and onbrand visual storytelling across channels, formats, and audiences.
As part of the Creative Studio team, work contributes to multiple projects and integrated initiatives in collaboration with partners across communications, marketing, and other MarComms teams. Responsibilities include producing defined assets, incorporating feedback, maintaining brand consistency, and strengthening design quality through daytoday studio collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
- Create visual assets across print, digital, and interactive formats that support communications, campaigns, and brand initiatives.
- Design, build and update advanced Word and PowerPoint templates aligned to Templafy requirements
- Apply brand guidelines and design standards to keep work consistent, polished, and onbrand.
- Work closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to refine designs, incorporate feedback, and move work forward smoothly.
- Contribute ideas and visual solutions that complement written content and strengthen storytelling.
- Support quality and consistency throughout the design process, with attention to detail, usability, and accessibility.
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies, and apply new developments to enhance creative outputs
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3 - 5 relevant years of professional graphic design experience with a portfolio demonstrating strong visual fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of graphic design principles, including layout, typography, colour, and hierarchy, with experience applying them across print and digital work.
- Experience with Word and PowerPoint at advanced user level or have previously built or worked on templates. Templafy experience desirable.
- Comfortable creating visual content across a range of formats, including presentations, digital content, and interactive assets.
- Proficiency with industrystandard design and collaboration tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office and other design and presentation software.
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Collaborative, with clear communication skills and comfort working with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Working knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design practices.
