Virtual Patient Care Coordinator | ONSITE (A-ALV)

Position Summary

Job Details:

• Work Arrangement: Onsite (either Bridgetowne or Eastwood site)
• Schedule: Must be amenable to working the night shift and a shifting schedule, including weekends
• Holidays: Observes US Holidays

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors virtually through the clinic's chosen systems and provide exceptional customer service.
• Check patients into the EMR and collect payments (deductibles, copayments, patient balances) at the appropriate time.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility for medical benefits in an outpatient office setting.
• Review patient demographics and intake paperwork for completeness; collect and update information in the EMR.
• Schedule patient appointments accurately to the provider's treatment-plan recommendations, ensuring future appointments are set before patients leave the office.
• Direct patients and visitors to designated treatment areas and manage the overall flow of the front office.
• Communicate effectively and proactively with in-office staff.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of customer care; medical office, health & wellness, or nursing experience highly desirable.
• Strong command of English, speaking and writing.
• Professional phone manner; comfortable with outbound calls via digital communication tools.
• Basic familiarity with physical therapy or medical intake terminology is a plus.
• Self-motivated and reliable, with a strong desire to meet results and KPIs.
