Role Description The Virtual Medical Assistant – Spanish Bilingual is a full-time, on-site role based in Biñan. In this position, the assistant supports healthcare providers by managing patient communications in both Spanish and English, documenting clinical encounters, and maintaining accurate medical records. Daily responsibilities may include scheduling appointments, updating electronic medical records, handling patient intake information, and assisting with follow-up instructions. The role also involves verifying medical information, coordinating with medical office staff, and ensuring that documentation meets regulatory and quality standards. The assistant is expected to provide courteous, confidential, and efficient support that enhances patient care and provider productivity.
Qualifications
  • Strong Medical Assisting skills, including support for clinical workflows and provider documentation.
  • Solid understanding of Medical Terminology to accurately capture and interpret clinical information.
  • Experience in a Medical Office environment, including scheduling, coordination, and administrative tasks.
  • Competence in Patient Care support, such as intake, follow-up communication, and patient education.
  • Proficiency in managing Medical Records, including electronic health record (EHR) systems and data accuracy.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with clear verbal and written communication in each language.
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and adherence to healthcare privacy and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work on-site in Biñan, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and adapt to evolving processes.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare support or virtual medical assistant role is preferred.
  • Relevant education or certification in medical assisting, healthcare administration, or a related field is beneficial.
