Virtual Medical Assistant - Provider Support (RN)

About Our Practice

Our medical practice offers quality medical care to seniors in their place of residence, particularly assisted living communities. We are committed to improving the quality and scope of medical care provided to the elderly population. We provide a broad scope of care, specializing in geriatrics, house calls, post-acute rehabilitation, wound care, palliative and hospice care, chronic disease management, and much more.

We see patients in the following locations: skilled nursing facilities, nursing homes, independent/assisted living facilities, board and care facilities, and private homes.

PHRNs (welcome, but must have extensive and highly relevant Provider Support experience to qualify)

Job Responsibilities

• Schedule patient visits
• Check-in/out patients
• Follow up with the patients, family members, and facilities
• Carry out Provider's orders
• Support the Provider during patient visits
• Review patient chart prior to the visit
• Complete billing slip for the Provider
• Answer phone calls
• Support the clinical team as needed
• Miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Clinical Management Team

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm / 9:00am - 6:00pm PST,

5 days/week

Skills

• Fluent in English, able to speak and write proficiently
• Very strong computer skills (including Electronic Health Records, MS Office, and Adobe)
• Prior experience working with a US medical client preferred
• Excellent verbal & written communication
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance & demeanor
• Dedicated, reliable & punctual
• Recent position in a clinical setting, virtual or in-person required

Requirements

HIPAA Certified

USRN License (Strongly preferred)

PHRN (Required)
