Job Description
We are looking for a reliable Virtual Draftsman to assist a plumbing services company based in Australia.
Job Responsibilities
- Draft and revise plumbing prefabrication and shop drawings for site use
- Assist in creating and updating plumbing blocks for drafting automation
- Apply correct symbols, layers, annotations, and title blocks
- Assist in developing templates for prefabrication and material list preparation
- Assist in pipe penetration drawing preparation
- Maintain drawing standards, revision control, and organized file management
Qualification And Requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D is essential, 3D is a bonus)
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications for documentation and data management
- Experience in Mechanical or piping drafting
- Can read other trade drawings, not required, but is a plus
- Familiarity with Australian plumbing and drafting standards is not required, but is a plus
- Familiarity with Trimble is not required, but is a plus
Non-negotiable Skills & Requirements
