VIRTUAL ASSISTANT - SOCIAL MEDIA & DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER (HEALTHCARE SALES)

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Virtual Assistant to handle comprehensive digital marketing, content creation, community engagement, and customer acquisition for two B2B platforms serving the healthcare sales industry. This role requires someone who can execute high-volume content strategy, direct outreach, and strategic partnerships to drive growth in the medical device and pharmaceutical sales market.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Content Creation & Publishing (25-30 hours/week):

  • Create and post 3x per day across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube Shorts for both platforms
  • Produce 21 posts per week, 90+ posts per month with distinct messaging for each platform
  • Create daily Instagram and Facebook Stories for both platforms to maintain consistent visibility
  • Create faceless AI videos using AI content tools (ChatGPT, Canva, CapCut, Descript, or similar)
  • Design carousel posts, educational content, testimonials, industry insights, and promotional content
  • Batch-create content weekly and schedule in advance using scheduling tools
  • Maintain content calendar for both platforms with distinct brand messaging
  • Optimize all content with SEO best practices and hashtag strategy for maximum reach
  • A/B test different content formats and analyze what performs best
  • Monitor trending topics in healthcare sales and create timely relevant content
  • Create promotional content for new job postings, platform features, and special offers

Community Engagement & Relationship Building (10-15 hours/week):

  • Respond to ALL comments and DMs within 24 hours across every platform
  • Join and actively post valuable content in 20+ medical sales Facebook groups
  • Comment on posts from healthcare sales influencers and industry leaders to build brand awareness
  • Engage with target audience posts on LinkedIn to drive traffic and build relationships
  • Monitor brand mentions and participate in relevant industry conversations
  • Build genuine relationships within the healthcare sales community
  • Monitor competitor social media activity and identify opportunities to differentiate

Paid Advertising Management (5 hours/week):

  • Set up and manage Facebook and Instagram ads with $500-1000/month budget
  • Create compelling ad copy and select best-performing content for paid promotion
  • Monitor ad performance daily and adjust targeting based on results
  • Test different audiences, creative formats, and messaging to optimize cost per lead
  • Provide weekly reports on ad spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and ROI
  • Scale winning campaigns and pause underperforming ads

Direct Outreach & Lead Generation (15-20 hours/week):

  • DM 50+ medical device and pharma sales reps per week on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
  • Personalize outreach messages to increase response rates
  • Track all outreach efforts, response rates, and conversion to leads
  • Reach out to 20+ medical sales influencers and podcasters per week for partnership opportunities
  • Build relationships with medical sales trainers and coaches for collaboration and cross-promotion
  • Connect with medical device companies to discuss bulk subscription deals
  • Reach out to pharmaceutical sales training programs for potential partnerships
  • Identify and qualify leads from social media engagement

Lead Magnets & Email Marketing (5-10 hours/week):

  • Create lead magnets including free guides, checklists, templates, and resources for medical sales reps
  • Build and manage email nurture sequences for leads from social media
  • Set up automated email welcome series for new subscribers
  • Create drip campaigns that educate prospects and move them toward conversion
  • Segment email lists based on interests (job seekers vs active sales reps)
  • Track email open rates, click rates, and conversions

Strategic Partnerships & Networking (5-10 hours/week):

  • Identify and reach out to medical sales podcasts for sponsorship opportunities
  • Pitch guest appearances or interviews on relevant podcasts and shows
  • Build referral partnerships with sales training companies
  • Attend virtual medical sales conferences, webinars, and networking events
  • Represent the brand in online events and build connections
  • Follow up with connections made at events to nurture relationships

Webinars & Training Sessions (5 hours/week):

  • Plan and promote free webinars or training sessions to generate leads
  • Create registration landing pages and promotional campaigns
  • Coordinate webinar logistics and reminders
  • Follow up with attendees to convert them to customers

Website SEO & Content Optimization (3-5 hours/week):

  • Conduct keyword research for healthcare sales industry
  • Optimize website pages with relevant keywords and meta descriptions
  • Write SEO-optimized blog posts to drive organic traffic
  • Update website content to improve search rankings
  • Monitor website traffic and identify opportunities for improvement

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

  • Track follower growth, engagement rates, website clicks, and leads generated across all platforms
  • Provide detailed weekly performance reports comparing both platforms
  • Document what content types and strategies perform best for each audience
  • Monitor key metrics: reach, impressions, engagement rate, click-through rate, conversion rate
  • Continuously optimize strategy based on data and feedback
  • Provide monthly summary reports with insights and recommendations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (Nice to Have):

  • 3+ years experience as Virtual Assistant specializing in social media management and digital marketing
  • Proven portfolio showing social media accounts you have grown with specific before/after metrics
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) - C1 level minimum
  • Experience with B2B audiences, preferably sales professionals or healthcare industry
  • Proficient in AI content creation tools (ChatGPT, Canva, CapCut, Descript, or similar)
  • Experience creating faceless AI videos and short-form video content
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram ads)
  • Knowledge of content scheduling tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Metricool)
  • Strong copywriting skills for B2B sales audience (not consumer brands)
  • Understanding of LinkedIn algorithm and engagement best practices
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of SEO and keyword research
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and ability to batch-create content
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without constant supervision
  • Reliable internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps) and professional home office setup
  • Experience with lead generation and outreach campaigns

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Background or interest in healthcare, medical sales, or pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar outreach tools
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and lead tracking
  • Previous experience managing multiple brand accounts simultaneously
  • Experience with Zapier or automation tools
  • Understanding of sales funnels and lead nurturing strategies
  • Experience planning and promoting webinars
  • Graphic design skills beyond templates
  • Video editing skills for longer-form content

TIME COMMITMENT:

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week
  • Must have at least 2-3 hours overlap with US Pacific Time (8am-11am PST preferred)
  • Flexible schedule but daily monitoring and engagement required
  • Some weekend availability for engagement monitoring (Bonus Pay/Overtime).
  • Long-term commitment required (minimum 6 months, prefer a permanent VA)

COMPENSATION:

  • Monthly salary: $1,200-1,800 USD depending on experience and portfolio
  • Performance bonuses based on measurable results (follower growth, leads generated, conversions)

  • Content consistency: Posting 3x daily without gaps across all platforms
  • Response time: All comments and DMs answered within 24 hours
  • Ad performance: Cost per click and cost per lead on paid campaigns
  • Email metrics: Open rates, click rates, and conversions from email campaigns
  • Partnership development: Number of partnerships and collaborations secured
  • Website traffic: Increases in organic and social traffic to website
