This is a full-time remote role for a
Video Editor at PUNX. The Video Editor will be responsible for video production, including editing, color grading, and crafting visual narratives that align with client briefs. Day-to-day tasks may include conceptualizing and implementing motion graphics, collaborating with the creative team to execute content strategies, and ensuring all video projects maintain a high standard of quality and creativity. The role requires independent initiative as well as active collaboration within a dynamic and innovative team environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing, with a strong ability to create cohesive visual stories
- Expertise in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and ensure professional output
- Experience in Motion Graphics and Graphics to add dynamic elements to videos
- Strong creative and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
- Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline
- Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Film Production, Communications, or a related field is a plus
- Must include a portfolio link showcasing their previous video editing
Responsibilities
- Create and edit videos for campaigns, social media, and internal projects using professional editing software.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance and generate visual assets.
- Collaborate with the creative, design, and accounts teams to conceptualize and execute visual campaigns.
- Edit raw footage, color grade, add motion graphics, sound design, and finalize deliverables for publishing.
- Maintain consistency with brand identity and visual tone across all projects.
- Research and experiment with new AI and video editing technologies to improve workflow and output quality.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, content planning, and creative reviews.
- Attend on-ground events, shoots, and client meetings when needed.
- Stay updated on emerging creative trends and AI applications relevant to content production.
