Video Editor - Ortigas - Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Review scripts and develop a shot selection list based on scene value and continuity

• Edit video content for digital platforms, ensuring quality outputs that meet project briefs

• Perform colour correction and add motion graphics such as titles, subtitling and lower thirds

• Edit cutdowns for traffic drivers and other requirements

• Resize videos for different platforms and screen formats

• Synchronise video content with music and dialogue for seamless audio-visual integration

• Create basic motion graphics and animations for intros and outros

• Conceptualise and contribute to content ideation for new videos and content enhancements

• Stay abreast of the latest design trends, social media algorithms, and industry best practices to keep our content fresh and impactful.

• Collaborate closely with copywriters and other team members to maintain a cohesive storytelling approach through visuals.

Skills & Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Broadcasting, Mass Communication, Multimedia Studies or related Communications field

• At least 2 years of experience in video editing or a strong portfolio of relevant work

• Proficiency in video editing software such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Da Vinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro

• Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator

• Basic competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Strong time management skills, self-motivated and ability to work collaboratively through virtual teams
