Job Description
As a Video Editor, you will be a key visual storyteller, creating engaging, educational, and inspirational video content to support Bai Finance's mission of making finance accessible to Filipino audiences. Your work will translate complex financial concepts into digestible and dynamic videos that resonate culturally and drive engagement across various social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production: Produce and edit high-quality video content, including short-form (Reels, TikTok) and long-form (YouTube), from raw footage to final delivery. This includes adding captivating captions, on-brand transitions, sound effects, and background music.
Social Media Optimization: Adapt videos for different social media platforms by optimizing for correct aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9), length, and incorporating platform-specific trends to maximize engagement.
Content Strategy and Collaboration: Work with the marketing and creative teams during brainstorming and planning stages to develop video ideas that align with marketing campaigns and brand objectives.
Asset Management: Organize and maintain a clean, accessible video and motion graphics library, ensuring brand consistency across all video output.
Trend and Platform Expertise: Proactively research and stay current with social media trends, video formats, and audio relevant to the financial and lifestyle content landscape in the Philippines.
Creative Direction: Provide creative input and occasionally assist in concept creation and shoot planning.
Post-Production Polish: Perform color correction and basic color grading to maintain a clean, professional, and consistent visual style across all videos.
Qualifications
Experience: Proven track record as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating proficiency in both short-form and long-form video editing, preferably with experience in finance, real estate, or lifestyle content.
Software Proficiency: Expertise in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve. Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animation is a strong plus.
Creative Skills: Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and hooks for social media. A keen eye for detail is essential.
AI Adaptability: Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools (e.g., auto-captioning, scene detection) is a plus and shows a proactive approach to modern workflows.
Collaborative and Communicative: Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote, and collaborative team environment. Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino are a must.
Reliability: Dependable internet connection and a high-performance computer setup are required for a seamless remote workflow.
