JOB DESCRIPTION
Avalon Creative Group is seeking a talented and experienced video editor and 3D animator based in the Philippines to work with us as an independent contractor. Our work includes videos to inspire audiences at corporate events, on-demand marketing webinars, internal corporate training and sales enablement, product demos, highlight reels, social media ads, interviews, customer testimonials and more.
Our goal is to establish a long term working relationship with a creative, reliable and ambitious video professional. After successfully completing an initial trial period, the right person will become an integral member of our creative team on a full-time contract basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
> Edit high quality videos from a variety of sources, including single-camera, multi-camera, stock footage, AI generated video, graphic elements, music, sound effects, etc.
> Effectively and efficiently generate video footage and elements using the latest AI tools
> Manage accuracy and correction of color and audio
> Understand and apply corporate branding and style guidelines and templates (MOGRTs)
> Manage, organize and backup video assets and deliverables, including raw footage, graphics, sound files, stock footage, projects, files, etc.
> Adhere to budgeted time constraints while incorporating client feedback and changes through multiple rounds of review and revisions
> Contribute to and consistently apply efficient workflow processes and standards (SOPs)
> Document guidelines and process details for team members and clients
> Pursue ongoing professional development and skill enhancements
REQUIRED SKILLS
> Having a proven track record of punctuality, reliability and professionalism is essential
> Excellent attention to detail and adeptness at managing multiple concurrent projects is required
> Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
> English fluency (written and spoken) along with excellent communication skills are essential
> You must be based in the Philippines with fast, reliable internet access and a robust computer
> You must have a quiet workspace where you can work without distractions and join Zoom calls
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
> At least 2 years of professional experience and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects
> Bonus if you have experience or proficiency with using 3D software like Blender, Cinema4D, or anything similar.
> You must have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates your passion and experience with video editing and motion graphics
>> Your portfolio must include examples of the type of work listed in the job description section
> Expertise in video editing fundamentals and techniques, including pacing, storytelling, and continuity
> Knowledge of different video formats and codecs for various delivery platforms
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
> 5 years of experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
> At least 2 years of experience and proficiency with Blender or Cinema 4D.
> Proficiency in color correction, audio editing, and mastering
> Familiarity with team communication and project management tools like Smartsheet, Slack, ClickUp, or similar platforms
> Familiarity or experience using AI post-production tools
> Strong understanding of visual composition, typography, and graphic design principles
> Completion of training and/or certifications in key software used
> Knowledge of social media platforms and video encoding specifications for each platform
COMPENSATION & ENGAGEMENT
> Compensation rate for full-time, independent contractor will be $1000 - 1300 USD per month
> Ten paid holidays and ten days of accrued paid time off (PTO) will be included annually
> Rate will be based on qualifications and experience
> This is a remote work position
> Work hours will need to overlap with standard business hours in California (9:00-6:00pm PT)
