We're looking for a PGM Accounting (VP Level) to lead large-scale outsourced Finance & Accounting services across Core Accounting, Accounts Payable, and FP&A.

About the Role

Reporting to the PGM under FM-FAO, this role owns end-to-end service delivery, transformation, and people leadership across Accounting, AP, and FP&A.

You will act as a senior delivery executive for global clients, drive process standardization and automation, and build high-performing finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the roadmap for outsourced finance operations across Accounting, AP, and FP&A
  • Align service capabilities with client objectives for scalability, cost efficiency, and compliance
  • Own performance goals, delivery margins, and growth plans
  • Lead transformation through standardization, automation, and analytics

Service Delivery & Operational Excellence

  • Oversee operations across:
  • Core Accounting (GL, close, reconciliations, fixed assets, intercompany)
  • Accounts Payable (invoice processing, suppliers, payments, expenses)
  • FP&A (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting)
  • Ensure SLA adherence, internal controls, and IFRS/US GAAP compliance
  • Lead internal, external, and SOX audits
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma practices

People Leadership

  • Lead managers and SMEs across Accounting, AP, and FP&A
  • Build succession plans and leadership development programs
  • Drive engagement, accountability, and retention

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as senior delivery leader for global clients
  • Partner with CFOs, Controllers, and FP&A leaders on insights and transformation
  • Act as escalation point for complex delivery issues
  • Support account expansion with sales and solutioning teams

Digital Transformation & Analytics

  • Drive RPA, AI, and OCR adoption across AP and Accounting
  • Embed advanced analytics in FP&A for predictive and prescriptive insights
  • Partner with IT on ERP enhancements, BI dashboards, and data governance

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive finance & accounting experience
  • At least 5 years in senior leadership roles managing:
  • Outsourced or shared services F&A and/or
  • Controllership or Commercial Finance (corporate)
  • Strong experience across Accounting, AP, and FP&A
  • Proven track record in operational excellence, transformation, and global delivery
  • Deep understanding of IFRS / US GAAP, audits, and internal controls

Good-to-Have

  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent accounting certification
  • Experience with ERP transitions, optimizations, or data migrations
  • Exposure to automation, RPA, AI, or advanced analytics initiatives
