Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Customer Engagement and Relationship Management

  • Drive brand awareness of Marina Bay Sands and Sands China Limited integrated resorts and affiliated properties while developing and growing business from the Japan market.

  • Promote Paiza Lifestyle Experiences and Services to Premium Players specifically from the Japan Market

  • Develop strong professional interpersonal relationships with new and existing Premium Players to drive incremental visitation to Marina Bay Sands & Sands China Limited Properties

  • Ensure that excellent customer experience is the focal point of customer touchpoints and interactions, in alignment with all applicable guidelines and company policies

  • Develop and record profiles on each player to ensure all customer touchpoints have the knowledge of individual preferences

  • Manage departmental budget and complimentaries in alignment with customer reinvestment strategies to ensure desired customer profitability and margin

  • Provide accurate and timely information on players financial status for credit line recommendations and Compliance requirements

  • Actively follow up with credit patrons and liaise with Premium Account Management for collaborative collections activities

Leadership, Planning, and Development

  • Provide strong leadership to your respective team with a focus on their development and growth in alignment with personal and company objectives.

    Develop an expertise with respect to the demographics, culture, behaviors, and the competitive landscape in each respective target market to support the design, development, and execution of successful business strategies.

    Participate and contribute to the development and execution of marketing promotional programs specifically geared to the target market segments with the main objective of generating incremental profit.

    Interpret market analysis specific to the targeted markets and implement learnings into strategies and initiatives.

    Manage departmental financial budgets and business operating plans that are consistent with the overall strategic positioning of the company

    Actively participate in collaborative strategic planning processes within the team and with other departments to identify opportunities that will drive optimal growth and profitability for Marina Bay Sands.

    Enable and support a culture of communication, collaboration and knowledge sharing to help build constructive, dynamic teams that exhibit the Marina Bay Sands core values.

    Job Requirements

    Education & Certification

    • College degree is preferred

    Experience

    • Possess a minimum of 20 years solid experience in managerial positions in the field of Casino Marketing or player development, particularly in the Japan market

    Other Prerequisites

    • Ability to communicate with guests effectively in Japanese to liaise with Japanese speaking guests

    • In depth knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering Policy, Company Compliance Policy and Credit Policy

    • In depth knowledge of the gaming products and services offered at Paiza, especially the Premium Programs offered by MBS

    • In depth knowledge of different incentive programs offered by casinos in Macau, Australia, Far East and all Southeast Asia casinos well knowledge pertains to LVS program for cross marketing purpose

    • Knowledge of ACSC, Opera as well as Table Touch system is preferred

    • Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft software including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    • Highly motivated, self-manageable, and sales-driven in a collaborative work culture

    • Customer-centric and service-oriented, focused on hospitality and customer experience

    • Proven organizational skills and time management capability

    • Adept at balancing the need for multi-tasking and prioritization of tasks

    • Embrace challenges and overcome obstacles with positive attitudes

    • Possess an ability to handle conflicts and solve problems in a culturally diverse environment
