Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President, HR Center of Excellence (COE) to lead the design, governance, and execution of enterprise-wide people strategies that drive business growth, organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, employee engagement, and workforce transformation.

As the custodian of the organization's HR Centers of Excellence, the successful candidate will lead and integrate the following pillars:

  • Organizational Development, Talent Strategy & Digital Innovation
  • Organizational Development & Talent Management
  • Learning & Development
  • Employee Experience
  • Total Rewards

This role partners closely with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, and Business Leaders to ensure people programs are aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable organizational impact.

HR Strategy & COE Leadership

  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide HR strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead and integrate all HR COE functions into a cohesive and impactful people agenda.
  • Establish governance, policies, frameworks, and standards across all COE pillars.
  • Drive HR transformation initiatives and future-ready workforce strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CHRO and Executive Leadership Team on strategic people matters.

Organizational Development, Talent Strategy & Digital Innovation

  • Lead organization design, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Develop talent strategies that support business growth and future capability requirements.
  • Drive HR digital transformation, people analytics, automation, AI adoption, and employee self-service solutions.
  • Establish workforce insights and analytics to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement across HR processes and employee experiences.

Organizational Development & Talent Management

  • Lead enterprise talent management frameworks, including:
  • Talent Reviews
  • Succession Planning
  • Critical Role Identification
  • Leadership Pipeline Development
  • Career Management
  • High-Potential Programs
  • Design and implement performance management strategies that drive accountability and business results.
  • Ensure organizational capabilities remain aligned with future business needs.

Learning & Development

  • Develop enterprise learning and capability-building strategies.
  • Establish leadership development programs across all leadership levels.
  • Drive technical, functional, and behavioral capability development initiatives.
  • Implement learning technologies and digital learning solutions.
  • Measure learning effectiveness and business impact.

Employee Experience

  • Design and execute employee experience strategies across the employee lifecycle.
  • Lead employee engagement, culture transformation, employer branding, and employee listening programs.
  • Drive initiatives that improve employee satisfaction, retention, productivity, and well-being.
  • Strengthen organizational culture and enhance the Employee Value Proposition (EVP).

Total Rewards

  • Lead compensation, benefits, recognition, and rewards strategies.
  • Ensure market competitiveness and internal equity through compensation benchmarking and job architecture.
  • Drive performance-based reward programs aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee salary structures, incentive plans, recognition programs, and benefits governance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor and compensation regulations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Executive Leaders, HR Business Partners, and Functional Heads to align people strategies with business priorities.
  • Build strong partnerships across the organization to drive adoption of HR initiatives.
  • Present workforce insights, talent risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
  • At least 8 years in a senior HR leadership role overseeing multiple HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Strong experience in organizational development, talent management, learning and development, total rewards, and employee experience.
  • Proven success leading enterprise-wide HR transformation and change initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with Executive Leadership Teams and Boards is an advantage.
