A leading global provider of fund administration and asset servicing solutions is looking for experienced Vice Presidents to join its Fund Administration team, supporting either Real Assets/Real Estate Funds or Hedge Fund clients.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing fund accounting operations, client relationships, financial reporting, team performance, and overall service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee fund administration and accounting activities for complex Real Assets/Real Estate or Hedge Fund structures.
- Review and approve financial statements, NAV calculations, working papers, reconciliations, and other fund reports.
- Oversee capital activity, investor allocations, fees, distributions, and other fund transactions as applicable.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, addressing operational and accounting concerns.
- Manage audit, tax, regulatory, and year-end reporting requirements.
- Oversee new fund launches, client onboarding, migrations, and transitions.
- Monitor service quality, operational KPIs, risk indicators, productivity, and client deliverables.
- Lead, coach, and develop accounting professionals while managing staffing and training requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and overall client service.
- Work closely with senior management and global teams to ensure successful delivery of client requirements.
- Escalate significant operational, financial, or client-related issues and drive timely resolution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification/certification required for Real Assets roles.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in financial services, fund administration, fund accounting, or a high-volume financial operations environment.
- Experience in Hedge Funds, Real Estate, Real Assets, Private Equity, or Asset Management is highly preferred.
- 6+ years of supervisory or people management experience.
- Strong knowledge of fund accounting, financial reporting, and accounting standards such as GAAP/IFRS.
- For Real Assets: experience with real estate/private equity fund accounting and fair value reporting is an advantage.
- For Hedge Funds: strong experience in NAV calculation, fund administration, and hedge fund operations is preferred.
- Strong client management, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with systems such as Yardi, MRI, Investran, or similar fund accounting platforms is an advantage.
Work Setup:
- Location: Makati or Alabang
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
- Schedule: AM or Mid-shift
