Your Role

As a Verification Process Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and productivity of the team's file completion process and providing subject matter expertise, while performing high-volume verification tasks yourself.

You Will

  • Oversee and monitor team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure the target of 30 completed files per week per examiner is met and submitted for review/approval.
  • Import and manage information within the Credentialing Platform (Medallion).
  • Verify credentialing data using various online resources, including State Licensing Board Websites, National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB), CAQH Profiles, National Student Clearinghouse, and American Board of Medical Specialties.
  • Assist in the training and onboarding process, providing expertise on verification elements and how to build and close out credentialing records.
  • Follow up with Provider Groups as needed.
  • Uphold high standards of professional communication and customer service in all interactions.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

  • Prior experience in data entry, administrative assistant work, or customer service, ideally in a high-volume environment.
  • Excellent Attention to Detail and proven capability as a Critical Thinker to handle complex verification data.
  • Strong proficiency in navigating the internet for various websites and portal sites required for verification.
  • Knowledgeable with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills/expertise

  • Prior experience in Medical Credentialing for Health Plans or Physician Groups.
  • Experience in a Supervisory or Subject Matter Expert (SME) role focusing on KPI oversight and process improvement.
  • Background as a Healthcare CSR or Healthcare Administrator with U.S. experience.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume productivity while maintaining quality.
