Overview:
We are looking for a Vendor Relations Specialists to support the Technology Business Unit, contribute to the efficiency and success of vendor relations, processes and procedures, and carry out day to day vendor related responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, detailed oriented, and dependable.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and sustaining long-standing relationships with company-approved vendors
- Meeting with suitable vendors to assess their products, inquire about their services, negotiate pricing, and communicate any product or service-related concerns.
- Conducting research on available vendors to determine which vendors offer the best pricing and product quality.
- Continually monitoring sales trends to determine which products are more popular than others.
- Prepare and produce reports tracking vendor spend, payment, and other relevant information
- Assists with related special projects, as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a vendor/procurement specialist. With a minimum 3 (three) years experience
- Full understanding of all procurement functions and best practices
- Must be proficient in written and spoken English, and additionally, be proficient in either written and spoken Mandarin or Tagalog.
- Multilingual is a Plus! (Knows Filipino, English and Mandarin)
