Job Summary:
The Vendor Development Coordinator is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new vendors globally. This role involves ensuring vendors meet company standards and are integrated smoothly into our system. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to vendor management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and recruit new vendors globally.
- Write job descriptions and post them on relevant media platforms.
- Source potential candidates on niche online platforms.
- Perform pre-screening calls to analyze the technicians abilities.
- Develop and implement vendor selection programs. • Monitor sales trends to determine recruitment focus areas.
- Negotiate standard rates and contracts with vendors.
- Communicate vendor responsibilities and obligations.
- Conduct daily prospecting activities, including inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, web research, data entry, and data management in HubSpot and internal databases.
- Ensure accurate collection and entry of prospect/company data in HubSpot and internal databases.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of call activities and details in HubSpot and internal databases for vendor onboarding.
- Deliver exceptional communication skills through phone, chat, and email for existing vendors and leads.
- Provide a positive and supportive experience at all points of interaction.
- Monitor compliance (updated insurance, required documents executed and in D1).
- Maintain vendors in Dispatch1 (remove inactive vendors, etc.).
Job Qualifications:
- Education Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience Experience in customer service, administrative support, recruiting, sales, or similar roles is a plus.
- Technical Skills Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Comfortable learning new systems and technologies.
- Strong internet research skills and ability to navigate online platforms.
