Position: Field Vehicle Inspector
Area assignment: South Metro Manila
Office location: BGC, Taguig
Position Summary
The Vehicle Inspector is responsible for conducting physical inspections and verifications of financed motor vehicles held under Finsso inventory funding program. The role ensures funded assets are accurately accounted for, properly maintained, and compliant with funding terms, thereby mitigating financial and operational risk.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Verification & Inspection
- Conduct scheduled and surprise physical inspections of dealer-funded vehicle stock.
- Verify vehicle details including VIN, engine number, registration, make/model, and condition.
- Reconcile physical stock against system records and funding schedules.
- Identify missing, sold, or unauthorized vehicles and escalate discrepancies.
Condition Assessment
- Assess vehicle condition (interior, exterior, mechanical where applicable).
- Document damages, modifications, or signs of misuse.
- Capture clear photographic evidence during each inspection.
Compliance & Risk Monitoring
- Ensure vehicles are properly branded/identified as funded stock where applicable.
- Verify that vehicles are stored securely and insured per funding agreement.
- Report breaches of funding terms or potential fraud indicators immediately.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare detailed inspection reports within required turnaround times.
- Update internal systems with accurate and timely inspection data.
- Provide risk summaries and recommendations to the Risk/Operations team.
Dealer Relationship Management
- Maintain professional and cooperative relationships with dealers.
- Educate dealers on stock audit requirements and compliance expectations.
- Support operational improvements where gaps are identified.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or equivalent qualification (Automotive, Business, or related field preferred)
- Min 2–3 years experience in vehicle inspections, stock auditing, or motor industry
- Experience in floorplan finance, asset finance, or banking (advantageous)
- Strong understanding of vehicle identification and documentation
- Preferably residing in NCR or Luzon
