Vascular Sonographer

Job Summary: Vascular Sonographer independently performs professional level assessments and a variety of non-invasive studies using ultrasound and related diagnostic technology as appropriate and records the results and clinical preliminary impressions as indicated.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Performs Procedure (2D Echocardiogram, Ankle Brachial Index, Treadmill Stress Echocardiogram, Dobutamine Stress Echocardiogram, Carotid Duplex Scan, Arterial Duplex Scan, Venous Duplex Scan)

• Facilitates patients in the procedure; taking into consideration their safety and well-being.
• Assists the Echocardiographer on Transesophageal Echocardiogram
• Assists in Pediatric 2D Echocardiogram
• Gives initial interpretation/reading to 2D Echo and vascular procedures specially for in-patients
• Requesting and production at SAP

Releasing of results

• Performs typing, proofreading and photocopying of results

Knowledge and Skills Enhancement

• Participate in all education programs such as seminars, trainings, workshop, symposiums and conventions to upgrade overall knowledge, skills and abilities.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Any 4-year medical course, preferably with PRC license.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• With a valid Vascular (Level 1/2) Certificate of Trainig.
