Job Summary:
- Build and review complex financial/valuation models (three-statement financial statement, discounted cash flow, market multiples) and validate key assumptions underlying forecasts
- Conduct industry and company research, monitor market trends, and ensure valuation analyses comply with best practices, standards, and methodologies
- Prepare and deliver high-quality valuation reports and presentations
- Drive business development initiatives, including proposal preparation and client pitches
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to build and maintain strong relationships throughout the engagement lifecycle and resolve valuation issues
- Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns, fostering technical and professional development
- Work with partners and senior staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities
What You Need To Have:
- Strong academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Professional qualification in accounting/CFA/FRM or progress toward certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of valuation experience acquired with the valuation practice within an accounting and/or professional services firm
- Advanced quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and build three statement financial models in Excel
- Strong grasp of business valuation and intangible assets valuation concepts is essential
- Proficiency in Excel-based financial/valuation modelling
- Proficiency in financial instruments valuation is an advantage
- Knowledge in programming languages (e.g., VBA, Python) and data visualisation tools is a plus
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and presentation/report-writing skills with attention to detail, combined with a good understanding of business dynamics and commercial value drivers
- Ability to manage multiple projects, lead teams, and perform under pressure
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and developing good relationships with clients, senior management, and partners
- High proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage
