Transaction Compliance Framework – Valuation, Modeling, and Economics

Our Transaction Compliance Framework (TCF) services focus on equipping organizations with the tools and strategies needed to ensure compliance during critical transactions. We partner with clients to develop comprehensive compliance protocols that address legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements throughout the transaction process. By applying our expertise and industry knowledge, we help businesses identify potential compliance risks and implement effective controls. Our customized solutions support organizations in navigating the complexities of transactions while safeguarding their interests and achieving successful results.

In Valuation, Modelling, and Economics (VME) services, we assist organizations in understanding the financial implications of their strategic decisions. Our offerings include business valuation, financial modelling, and economic analysis tailored to meet specific client needs. We provide comprehensive insights that support investment decisions, enhance financial forecasting, and assess market conditions. By aligning valuation and modelling efforts with business objectives, we empower clients to navigate complex financial landscapes and achieve sustainable growth through informed decision-making.

As a Manager in VME, you'll lead valuation, modelling, and economics engagements by overseeing valuation reports, financial models, and economic analyses, while managing client relationships, engagement delivery, and team activities. You'll also provide technical guidance, mentor junior team members, and apply emerging industry insights and service offerings to enhance client engagements and firm initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead valuation, modelling, and economics engagements, including overseeing the preparation of valuation reports, financial models, economic analyses, and day-to-day team activities.
• Manage stakeholder communications and collaborate across EY teams, service lines, and offices to address engagement matters and deliver exceptional client service.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching to team members, supporting the application of valuation, modelling, and economics methodologies and their professional development.
• Manage engagement administration, including margins, billings, and collections.
• Support business development and marketing initiatives while staying current on industry developments and service offerings to enhance client engagements and firm projects.

Skills and attributes for success

What we look for:

• A degree qualification in related discipline such as Business, Finance, or Economics.
• At least five (5) years of experience applying valuation, modelling, and economics methodologies within a Big 4 accounting firm, valuation firm, investment or commercial banking, venture capital, financial research, or corporate finance environment.

Ideally, you'll also:

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build client relationships, collaborate effectively, and develop practical solutions to complex challenges.
• Advanced financial modelling and quantitative skills, including strong proficiency in MS Excel, as well as excellent project and time management capabilities to meet demanding deadlines.
• CPA license is highly preferred; professional credentials such as CFA, CVA, AFM, or CFM are considered a plus.
