About the Role
We're looking for a UX Copywriter who can turn complex ideas into clear, empathetic, human, actionable product content. You'll craft words that helps users through web and mobile journeysmicrocopy, flows, error states, education, and in-app commsworking end-to-end across discovery, writing, testing, and iteration. We're expanding from Retail into Wealth and MSME/Corporate, so you'll help define content patterns that scale across multiple banking experiences. Banking experience isn't required; curiosity, rigor, and a user-centered mindset are.
What You'll Do
- Own the UX copy across key journeys and platforms
- Translate business goals and user needs into clear, concise content strategies and IA for flows, screens, and states.
- Challenge requirements to simplify complexity, reduce cognitive load, and improve task completion.
- Plan and run lean content research and tests (e.g., terminology tests, comprehension checks, copy A/Bs, usability) and use data/insights to iterate.
- Collaborate daily with Product Designers, PMs, Engineers, Brand, and Legal/Compliance to ship content that's accurate, on-brand, and compliant.
- Define voice & tone guidelines for different contexts (e.g., reassurance for errors, neutrality for forms, warmth for success).
- Create and maintain a content style guide, glossary, and reusable patterns (content components) within the design system.
- Present rationale clearly, using research, behavioural data, and best practices to advocate for users.
- Contribute to accessibility and inclusivity standards (plain language, RTL/LTR readiness, screen-reader semantics, localization readiness).
- Track and improve content quality with measurable outcomes (e.g., error-rate reduction, task success, support deflection).
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a UX Writer/Content Designer or similar role building consumer-facing digital products and platforms.
- Portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end problem solving: before/after examples, hypotheses, experiments, and impact.
- Strength in plain language, information hierarchy, and micro-interaction copy.
- Comfort with qualitative and quantitative methods (interviews, usability tests, analytics reviews, A/B tests).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder managementable to align with technical and non-technical partners.
- Familiarity with Figma (or similar) and working directly in design files alongside designers.
- Ability to balance user needs, brand, compliance, and technical constraints while shipping on time.
- Collaborative, feedback-friendly mindset and strong attention to detail.
Good to Have
- Experience in financial services, regulated products, or other complex domains.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and content ops at scale.
- Experience integrating content into design systems (tokens, patterns, documentation).
- Comfortable with basic content analytics (funnels, drop-offs, search terms, support tags).
