JOB SUMMARY
The Utility Staff is responsible for ensuring that the clinic premises are consistently clean, organized, and well-maintained. This role plays a critical part in creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The position requires attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the clinic.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of all clinic areas, including patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and administrative spaces.
Ensure that all equipment, furniture, and fixtures are clean, orderly, and in proper working condition.
Properly handle and dispose of medical and non-medical waste in accordance with clinic protocols and safety regulations.
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
Assist in preparing clinic spaces for daily operations, special events, or patient appointments as required.
Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols to minimize risks to staff and patients.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum educational requirement: Vocational Diploma or completion of a relevant short course.
At least 1 year of working experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or a related field is required.
Knowledge of cleaning procedures, disinfectants, and hygiene standards is preferred.
Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and maintain consistent quality of work.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment.
