Job Summary:
The PHRN Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for healthcare accounts within a BPO setting. The role ensures that clinical staff are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and compliance standards required for Utilization Management (UM) and/or Clinical Appeals & Denials processes. The trainer will support operational excellence by driving competency, quality, and continuous learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate new hire training and refresher programs for healthcare accounts
- Develop and update training materials, modules, and assessments aligned with client requirements
- Conduct product/process training on Utilization Management (UM) and/or Clinical Appeals & Denials
- Monitor trainee performance and provide coaching and feedback
- Partner with Operations and Quality teams to address performance gaps
- Participate in calibration sessions to ensure alignment with client standards
- Track and report training effectiveness, performance metrics, and improvement plans
- Support transition training and continuous education initiatives
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Philippine Registered Nurse (PHRN) license
- At least 1 year of experience in a Trainer role within a healthcare BPO environment
- Strong background in Utilization Management (UM) or Clinical Appeals & Denials
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies
- Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Willing to work onsite in Bridgetowne, QC
- Amenable to night shift schedule
