We are looking for Frontend Design Developer (User Experience Engineer) with experience in Figma and UI/UX Design.
Top 3 Must-Have Skills / Primary Skills
• Figma Proficiency & UI/UX Design Highly proficient in Figma for creating detailed, production-ready screen mockups and interactive prototypes. Able to design end-to-end user flows, apply consistent design systems and component libraries, and deliver annotated screens that development teams can implement directly.
• Requirements Interpretation from SRS Able to read and interpret System Requirements Specifications (SRS) and functional requirement documents to derive accurate UI designs. Translates business and functional requirements into intuitive screen layouts without requiring hand-holding from developers or business analysts.
• Design Standards & Accessibility Strong understanding of responsive design principles, web/mobile UI conventions, and accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG 2.1). Ensures all mockups adhere to established design guidelines, government digital standards, or client branding requirements.
Good-to-Have Skills (Optional)
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/React) to understand technical constraints and communicate effectively with developers
• Experience working within or contributing to a design system or component library (e.g. Figma component libraries, Singapore Government Design System – SGDS)
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying client-specified UI/UX frameworks (e.g. Angular Material, Bootstrap, Ant Design, SGDS, or custom design systems) to produce Figma mockups that are consistent with the client's chosen technology stack and visual languageExperience in public sector or government digital projects, particularly in Singapore (e.g. GovTech, HDB, LTA, or similar agencies)
• Familiarity with tools such as Figma for collaborative design and documentation
• Understanding of SDLC processes and experience working in Waterfall delivery teams
