About the Role:

This is a 100% remote, work-from-home position operating on a night shift schedule beginning at 9:00 PM Philippine Time, aligned with U.S. Eastern Standard Time business hours. You will collaborate with a small but growing team of professionals based in the United States, Philippines, and India, all working the same shift to support U.S. tax compliance services for real estate funds. The role requires strong communication, accountability, and the ability to thrive in a structured, team-oriented remote environment.

Rather than relying solely on traditional manual processes, the team integrates purpose-built technology to increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability, creating a more streamlined and forward-thinking approach to fund tax compliance.

The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Diligently interact with the team and clients during PH night hours to serve the overall company and the client's needs
• Review client financial statements and re-format into fileable tax calculations, ensuring compliance with US tax regulations
• Prepare Federal and State 1065 Partnership returns for real estate syndications and funds, with additional expansion into other areas of US tax as time progresses
• Prepare K-1s and assist with investor inquiries
• Maintain depreciation, amortization, and member basis schedules
• Identify necessary book-to-tax adjustments
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information for tax filings

Experience:

• 3-7 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role
• CPA preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets)
