We are seeking a highly experienced
Senior Lacerte Tax Preparation Specialist to join our growing accounting team. The ideal candidate must have extensive hands-on experience using
Intuit Lacerte and a strong background in preparing complex U.S. tax returns, including individual, multi-state, tax-exempt, and corporate filings. This is a permanent remote position for a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex U.S. federal and state tax returns using Intuit Lacerte
- Handle individual, multi-state, tax-exempt, and corporate tax returns (C-Corp, S-Corp, Partnerships)
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with current U.S. tax laws and regulations
- Identify tax issues, risks, and opportunities for optimization
- Manage multiple client engagements and meet filing deadlines
- Maintain proper documentation and workpapers for all tax filings
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams as needed
- Stay up to date with changes in U.S. tax laws and IRS requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience using Intuit Lacerte (required)
- Proven experience in individual, multi-state, tax-exempt, and corporate tax preparation
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Reliable internet connection and home office setup
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA, EA, or equivalent tax certification
- Experience working with U.S.-based accounting firms or clients
- Prior remote work experience in tax or accounting roles
