About the Role

The Tax Manager is responsible for managing multiple client engagements, providing advanced tax planning and advisory services, and mentoring team members. This role focuses on delivering exceptional client service while overseeing the quality of tax deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and review complex tax engagements, including multi-state and specialized tax returns.
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies tailored to client needs.
  • Lead and mentor teams of associates and senior associates, providing performance feedback and training.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Build strong client relationships and act as their primary point of contact for tax matters.
  • Assist with business development activities, including identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by management.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or EA license is required.
  • 5–8 years of public accounting tax experience.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, excellent communication and client relationship skills, and an expertise in tax compliance, planning, and advisory services.
