About the Role:
As a Tax Associate, you'll be hands-on in delivering exceptional tax work, from tackling complex returns to supporting strategic planning that helps clients and the firm thrive. In this role, you'll:
- Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, S-corporations, and trusts using tax software under supervision.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing financial data to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.
- Conduct research on routine tax issues and provide summaries to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
- Contribute to process improvements and learn directly from experienced professionals to strengthen your technical and analytical skills.
- Engage in ongoing training and mentorship opportunities designed to support your professional growth within the firm.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience preparing complex tax returns, gained through working with diverse clients in public accounting.
- Developing knowledge of individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, with exposure to a variety of tax situations across different industries.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage tasks efficiently and support multiple engagements in a collaborative, fast-paced public accounting environment.
- A CPA or EA license is preferred.
