Unlock Your Potential!
At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients across the accounting, finance, and professional services industries.
We are seeking an ambitious, client-facing US Tax Accountant to join an integrated tax and wealth advisory firm. In this hands-on technical role, you will prepare tax returns across the entity spectrum-from complex Individual (Form 1040) returns to Business (Forms 1065, 1120-S, 1120) and Trust (Form 1041) filings. Operating onsite at our modern Cebu facility on a US-aligned night shift, you will work directly with US high-net-worth clients and collaborate closely with onshore wealth advisory teams to deliver proactive tax planning and holistic wealth solutions.
Your Impact
Comprehensive Return Preparation: Prepare complex Individual returns (1040 with K-1s) and end-to-end Business returns (1065, 1120-S, 1120), including Schedule K-1 generation and basis tracking. Prepare Fiduciary Trust returns (1041) and handle multi-state filings involving state nexus and apportionment calculations.
Integrated Tax Planning: Develop tax planning recommendations (quarterly estimates, retirement projections, entity structure reviews) and collaborate with the wealth advisory team to surface tax-saving opportunities for shared clients.
Direct Client Relationships: Communicate directly with US clients regarding return details, document requests, and IRS notice resolutions while participating in client planning meetings alongside onshore wealth advisors.
Practice Contribution: Support seasonal preparers, incorporate technical review feedback from the Director of Tax, and contribute to continuous tax process improvements.
What You Bring
The Experience:1-2 years of experience in public accounting or US tax preparation (relevant tax internship experience considered). Demonstrated hands-on experience preparing 1040 individual returns, with exposure to 1065 Partnership and 1120-S S-Corporation filings.
Communication & Client Management: Confidence and clarity in direct, written and verbal English communication to handle substantive tax matters directly with US clients and advisors.
Software Competency: Experience with professional tax software packages such as UltraTax CS (or comparable platforms like ProConnect, Lacerte, or Drake).
Preferred Experience: Knowledge of Trust & Estate tax (1041), multi-state tax apportionment, high-net-worth/closely held business consulting, or integrated wealth management setups. Progress toward CPA licensure is welcomed.
Credentials:Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
