About The Role:
We're looking for a Senior Tax Manager who's passionate about delivering exceptional tax work and enjoys taking on broader accounting projects during the off-season to stay engaged and keep making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage tax compliance, tax planning, and tax strategy services for clients.
- Lead and mentor the tax team, providing technical expertise and guidance on complex tax matters.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring exceptional client service and satisfaction.
- Review and approve tax filings, returns, and other compliance-related documents for individuals, businesses, and partnerships.
- Stay current on federal, state, and local tax laws and changes, ensuring the firm's tax practices remain compliant and forward-thinking.
- Drive business development by identifying new client opportunities and expanding services with existing clients.
- Collaborate closely with other senior leadership on firm-wide strategies and client service initiatives.
- Collaborate with the accounting team during the off-season to support financial reporting, process improvements, and special projects that strengthen overall firm operations.
What We're Looking For:
- CPA license is required
- 5+ years of tax experience in a CPA firm.
- Expertise in individual, corporate, and partnership tax filings.
- Proven experience managing complex tax strategies and multiple clients.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Ambition to grow within a firm and pursue partnership in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
