As a US Senior Accountant, you will perform and oversee a wide range of corporate accounting functions for an international business unit bringing original gifts and collectibles to the global market. Designed for an autonomous, analytical finance leader, this remote night-shift role works directly at the P&L level with business unit leaders. You will own monthly financial reporting packages, manage complex inventory cost-of-goods rolls, supervise junior accounting staff, and drive continuous process improvements to support international business growth.

Your Impact

• P&L Management & Business Unit Reporting: Own full monthly financial reporting for an assigned business unit, including inventory reconciliations, sales returns and bad debt projection analyses, selling expense reconciliations, and actual-to-plan variance write-ups.

• Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare full financial statement packages and Controller's Reports with insightful operational commentary, directly addressing management questions regarding business unit results.

• Inventory Roll & COGS Accounting: Prepare inventory roll schedules and record complex general ledger transactions relating to Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) appropriate to business complexity and risk.

• Team Supervision & Mentorship: Supervise, train, and review the day-to-day work of Staff and Assistant Accountants, serving as a key technical resource for both the accounting team and cross-functional partners.

• Advanced Modeling & Special Projects: Lead process improvement initiatives and perform ad hoc financial analyses, scenario modeling, and business health reviews to support ongoing operational needs.

What You Bring

• The Experience:Minimum 4+ years of related accounting experience, with a strong background in corporate financial reporting, inventory accounting, and supervising staff.

• The Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.

• Technical Mastery: Superior proficiency in Microsoft Excel with a proven ability to build financial models and perform advanced data analyses. Strong grasp of U.S. GAAP, general ledger maintenance, and variance analyses.

• Leadership & Cross-Functional Ability: Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead, direct, and review the work of others while collaborating effectively across departments.

• Operational Discipline: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working with high autonomy on complex financial projects.

• Communication Prowess: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal English communication skills, vital for presenting operational results to executives and stakeholders.
