Responsible for support and or run overall or partial Payroll and Time & Attendance administration for various Legal Entities, utilizing good judgment, discretion, professionalism and conforming to all applicable laws, company policies and regulatory requirements.

US Payroll, Time & Attendance Specialist

Payroll Operations

Support and/or execute parts or the full Payroll workflow for various Legal Entities:

  • Manage payroll calendars, cut-offs, and data collection.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, status changes, deductions, benefits, and other relevant updates.
  • Perform pre-payroll data validation, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, proper authorization, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Prepare and process payroll inputs through designated payroll systems/vendors.
  • Support payroll execution and coordinate with People & Culture, payroll vendors, and relevant stakeholders. Final payroll decision and execution remain out of scope.
  • Conduct post-payroll validation and resolve payroll queries and discrepancies.
  • Prepare payroll reports, letters, documentation, and required payroll-related information.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper payroll governance, controls, audit readiness, and compliance.

Time & Attendance Operations

Support and/or execute parts or the full Time & Attendance workflow for various Legal Entities:

  • Administer electronic timekeeping and absence management systems.
  • Monitor timesheet submissions and ensure accurate and timely data transfer to payroll.
  • Support manager review and approval processes.
  • Validate time and attendance data and resolve exceptions or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors and relevant stakeholders on required corrections and inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with company time-off policies and procedures.
  • Manage balance adjustments, reporting, payroll interfaces, and cut-off activities.
  • Support governance, controls, audits, and compliance requirements.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 2 years payroll processing experience required.
  • Experience with payroll and time/attendance software. US payroll experience required, EMEA payroll experience highly desired
  • Knowledge of several employment laws and some aspects of human resources including benefits, payroll, leaves of absence
  • Ability to acknowledge employee privacy laws and protect company value by keeping employee information confidential.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office. Strong Excel experience required.
  • Strong mathematical attitude.
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner with great attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, with the ability to professionally interact with all levels throughout the organization.
  • Employee service oriented.
  • Thoroughness, with ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Detail-oriented and systematic with the ability to meet deadlines and to ensure accurate work.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
