Job Description

  • Prepare and file payroll tax returns for expatriate employees
  • Ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations
  • Maintain accurate expatriate tax data and statutory reports
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external tax partners
  • Support payroll audits with documentation and analysis
  • Monitor changes in expatriate tax laws and best practices
  • Implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
  • Handle manual payroll inputs and reconciliations
  • Provide expatriate data to external tax service providers
  • Manage tax equalization funding and approval processes

The Successful Applicant

A successful US Payroll Tax Analyst should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in payroll or expatriate taxation
  • Handled multistate US payroll tax
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn new systems and tools
  • Experience with Workday, AssignmentPro, or Alteryx is a plus
  • Familiarity with expatriate tax processes and automation tools
