US Payroll Specialist

Relay Human Cloud is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team and support an international client. We're seeking a detail-oriented payroll professional with strong payroll processing experience and the ability to manage payroll for a workforce of approximately 500 employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and administer payroll accurately and on time for approximately 1,000 employees.
• Review and validate time records, attendance, overtime, deductions, and other payroll inputs.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
• Reconcile payroll data and prepare payroll reports and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure the confidentiality of employee information.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Follow established payroll procedures and applicable compliance requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in payroll processing and administration, preferably handling payroll for approximately 500 employees.
• Strong understanding of payroll calculations, timekeeping, deductions, and payroll reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using payroll systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Comfortable working independently and meeting strict payroll deadlines.
• Willing and able to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time (Philippine night shift).
