Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients in the accounting industry.

As a US Junior Tax Accountant, you are the foundational specialist in the world of North American tax compliance. This role is designed for an aspiring tax professional who is ready to bridge the gap between accounting theory and complex US tax law. Under the mentorship of seasoned seniors, you will navigate the intricacies of federal and state filings, ensuring that individual and business clients remain compliant while gaining elite exposure to the global financial landscape.

Your Impact

  • Federal & State Tax Specialist: Take ownership of preparing U.S. federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. You will work under senior guidance to ensure every filing is accurate and optimized, moving beyond basic data entry to understand the mechanics of the US tax code.

  • Global Liaison: Act as a proactive communicator between our Philippine-based hubs and the U.S. onshore team. You will clarify data points, resolve technical discrepancies, and ensure that all deliverables hit the desk on time, every time.

  • Guardian of Documentation: Maintain meticulously organized workpapers and documentation that meet both firm and international regulatory standards. Your attention to detail ensures that every return is backed by a solid audit trail.

  • Specialized Exposure: Scale your expertise by assisting with multi-state tax filings and gaining a plus advantage through exposure to complex estate and trust tax matters.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience, preferably supporting a U.S.-based CPA firm. You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with U.S. tax software and a solid understanding of the US tax calendar. While not required, being a CPA/EA or having plans to obtain certification is a significant advantage.

  • The Mindset: Strong analytical and organizational skills with an uncompromising eye for detail. You are an independent worker who can manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining excellent written and verbal English communication.

Why You'll Love It Here

We believe in rewarding high achievers with a work environment that fuels both professional growth and personal well-being.

  • Career Specialization: Fast-track your knowledge of the US tax system, a highly sought-after niche in the global accounting industry.

  • Health & Security: Comprehensive HMO and Life Insurance coverage from day one.

  • Wealth & Growth: Competitive salary with annual performance reviews, tenure recognition, and a clear roadmap to Intermediate and Senior Tax Accountant roles.

  • The Hub Experience: Work from a modern facility featuring a breakout room with billiards, table tennis, or foosball-the perfect way to recharge during the US-aligned night shift.

  • Fuel Your Night: Enjoy access to over 20 varieties of free coffee and chocolate drinks at our in-house bar to keep you sharp and energized throughout the US business day.
