We need someone to work side by side with the Controller and Project Managers to analyze and organize contract financial data, identify trends and risks.

Responsibilities

• Review awarded contracts for accounting treatment
• Set up project within the accounting system
• Maintain project workforce, labor categories, rates, billing schedules and other project related data in the accounting system
• Prepare and review monthly invoices
• Develop and maintain detailed supporting data for all invoiced costs.
• Maintain project level reports and dashboards
• Maintain and enter modifications and track amounts expended within the accounting system.
• Communicate billing and project finance concepts and issues to project managers and Controller
• Calculate revenue and project profitability as part of the monthly financial close.
• Participate in monthly project reviews with project managers.
• Assist with calculation and preparation project closeouts and final billing.
  
  

Required Skills

• Extensive financial modeling and reporting skills
• Excellent communications skills (written, interpersonal, and presentation skills)
• Highly organized with precise attention to detail
• Ability to simplify, organize, and interpret complex data
• Ability to problem solve and move things forward proactively
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Excel, Google Suite
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with project based accounting application
• Familiarity with Unanet, Slack
  
  

Work Location

• Home based work set up
• Monday to Friday; 8 am to 5 pm EST (Night shift)
• Should have strong internet connection (minimum of 20 mbps)
• Should have own Laptop/PC (minimum of i5 8GB RAM)
