We are seeking an
experienced US Business Bookkeeper to manage and support the financial operations of
US-based companies. The ideal candidate has
at least 5 years of solid bookkeeping and audit experience, with a strong understanding of
US accounting standards, compliance, and business practices.
This role requires hands-on experience in US bookkeeping. Experience focused solely on Philippine accounting will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for US-based businesses
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping (AR, AP, bank and credit card reconciliations)
- Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with US accounting standards
- Manage payroll coordination, sales tax tracking, and expense reporting
- Work closely with management to provide financial insights and reports
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality of financial data
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of solid bookkeeping and audit experience
- Strong experience with US business bookkeeping (required)
- CPA license is a strong advantage, but not required
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and US accounting practices
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks (Online/Desktop), Xero, or similar
- Experience handling US clients, US tax preparers, or US audits
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting US tax filings (1099s, sales tax, payroll reports)
- Prior experience working with US CPA firms or US-based companies
